The Hilong-15 drilling rig in Hilong Oil Service Ecuador Project has formally started operation at 21:30 on September 1, 2012 local time!
From April 11, 2012, when HL-15 received bid award from Schlumberger, the Headquarters and the Project Department responded actively to work overtime to prepare supporting services for drilling rig, on June 11 the equipment assembly was completed at port, on June 18 the equipment ship left the port, on July 20 the ship safely arrived at Ecuador port. With meticulous preparations and arrangements by the Project Department, it took only 42 days for the drill rig to finish unloading, custom clearance, shipping, installation, rectification, examination & acceptance, to successful startup operation. During this period, it passed Party A’s stringent inspections covering 904 items, which again proved the Project Department’s excellent organization ability.
The successful operation startup of HL-15 signifies that Hilong Oil Service has further expanded its business in Ecuador’s drilling market, and born witness to Hilong Oil Service’s continual growth, expansion and improvement in overall strength!
